At a time when the Coronavirus has become a preoccupation of the world, in light of the quarantine measures that the countries of the world have begun to impose, the people of the occupied Kurdish autonomous Afrin region, say that the things are not different now, since they have been in quarantine for two years as a result of violations and abuses of the Turkish occupation and the militias of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, describing it as a “real virus”.
In the context, the Kurdish citizen living in Afrin, “Abu Ster / a pseudonym” said that they, like the people of Afrin, feel justice for the first time in two years, since the Turkish military occupation deprived them of their normal life, when their property were stolen, their homes were seized, their relatives were displaced and prevented from returning, and we who remained were always abused to displace us from our land.
Abu Ster added: “we have been screaming for tow years, the hypocritical world is still silent, and our trees are being cut, our youth are being kidnapped, we are besieged, we are kidnapped and looted, we are deprived of our most basic rights, and we are prevented from visiting our villages or moving between the areas of Afrin, We are satisfied with self-imprisonment to prevent kidnappings and torture of every Kurd here, two years as we cry out to the world, so that his conscience may wake up, but it was no use ”
He continued to say: “The misfortune is that the entire world understands that the Turkish invasion of our regions is a racist invasion, and its purpose is to genocide, and to purify the Kurdish areas in Syria from its original inhabitants, by settling the occupation agents and its tails from the supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, and yet they are trying to deceive us and deceive their people by saying that Turkey has Security concerns. ”
He added, “Any security concerns that could be for a country that has an arsenal that will enable it to attack Russia or Europe from a people who live peacefully on its land… they are lying to themselves and appeasing the Turkish occupation at the expense of our future and the future of our children.”
Abu Ster noted that the goal of the Turkish occupation is clear to them as Afrin people, is to “prevent the Kurds in Syria from constitutionally establishing their rights, by evacuating the Kurdish areas as happened in Afrin from its residents, by launching military attacks against them, and thus ending the Kurdish presence in Syria, dispersing them, distributing them to areas far from their original regions, and eliminating (self-administration), to prevent the emergence of the Kurdish identity in Syria, as the second nationality in the country.
Abu Ster said: Perhaps tomorrow, or after a week, maybe a month or three, the world will produce a cure for the Coronavirus, but for the Turkish occupation virus and its gunmen, who can find a cure for them and save Afrin.
