The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said today, Tuesday, that after two years since the Turkish army and Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood organization occupied the Kurdish region of Afrin, these militias continue, in a Turkish green light, all kinds of violations against the people of Afrin, whether those who remain and refuse to be displaced or who have been abandoned by behavior with their property, plundered and looted.

In the context of this, the Syrian Observatory learned that the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” had numbered the shops in the “Mobata / Ma’batli” area in Afrin countryside, in order to collect monthly royalties in varying amounts.

It also affirmed that the militia’s militants themselves had bulldozed the soil and dug heavy machinery at archaeological sites located between the villages of “Shitka” and “Karkheh” on the one hand, in search of antiquities.

The Syrian Observatory published on the ninth of March this year, that the Islamic militias are still among the so-called “Syrian National Army” militias that continue their violations against the citizens of the indigenous Afrin Kurds.

Where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information that reveals the tragic conditions that the city suffers from as a result of the practices and violations carried out by those militias against the remaining Kurds after their displacement from their homes.

According to the information obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the recent events have prompted the Turkish occupation to give the green light to these factions to sell Kurdish property at symbolic sums.
