A Kurdish citizen has been kidnapped in Jenedris for preparing to plant explosives

Afrinpost – Special

The Afrinpost correspondent in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, said that the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to abuse the indigenous people who remained on their lands, as part of their efforts to displace them and settle others in their lands.

In this context, last Wednesday, corresponding to the 4th of March, the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia kidnapped a Kurdish citizen in the city of Jenderes, on charges of preparing and detonating explosives.

The Afrinpost correspondent in Jenderes district said that an armed group from the “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” militia led by “Abu Habib” kidnapped the citizen “Hori Hori”, and then handed him over to the “Military Police” militia in the city.

Huri, 30 years old, is from the village of Ashkan Gharbi, and works at a motorcycle repair shop.

Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood have long accused the “People’s Protection Units” and the Kurdish citizens remaining in Afrin, of carrying out the bombings that have occurred since the application of the Turkish military occupation in March 2018, with the aim of evading responsibility.

In other hands, Afrin activists affirm that the militias of the Turkish occupation are the ones behind the frequent bombings from time to time, with the aim of spreading confusion and panic among the indigenous Kurdish Afrin residents, to pressure them and push them towards leaving the Kurdish region and bring about a wider demographic change in favor of settlers from the families of Islamic militia militants.

On April 7, 2019, an explosion occurred in the center of Afrin region, as a result of a settler’s attempt to lay a mine near the headquarters of an Islamic militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation, and settler activists then transmitted what they called “the terrorist who tried to lay a mine and exploded it”. , Adding that “the name is: Abdel Moneim Al-Zoubi, and he is from Homs countryside, Al-Rastan town.”

These settlers added that the settler who was killed while trying to lay the mine was a “dissident officer belonging to ISIS who came to Afrin about 8 months ago”, to condemn this information by the settlers and the militias of the occupation, as they constitute an incubator that protects the ISIS, provides them a safe haven, and proceeds to carry out explosions against each other. , In the context of competition for robbery, influence, money, and barriers.
