The Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, affirmed on Sunday that Turkey continues to support ISIS with money and members in northern Syria, calling on the Security Council to protect the gains made by his forces in the war on terrorism.
He added, during statements carried by the newspaper “Ozkor Politika”, that the process of liberating Afrin will not take long time.
He added that “the time has come to re-liberate the areas of Afrin,” noting that this will happen “when time and conditions permit,” explaining that those areas will return to their true owners.
He stressed that Turkey and the militants of the Muslim Brotherhood “could not break our forces,” noting that they are still “an Obsession with Turkish forces.”
Abdi had said in mid-January that Turkey had used the terrorist organization ISIS to eliminate the Kurdish forces and had taken offspring to occupy Syrian lands, adding that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is an ally of the terrorist organization ISIS and the effective guide of the Brotherhood.
