In the context, gunmen from the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia sold a house belonging to the Kurdish citizen “Muhammad Ahmed” from the people of the town of “Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid” to a family from the city of Saraqib in Idlib countryside for an amount of two thousand dollars, knowing that the house is located in the residential construction opposite to “Online” Internet company in Ashrafieh district.
Another armed militia belonging to the “Hamzah Brigade” militia sold a warehouse on the Serfis Road in the Ashrafieh neighborhood for $ 1,800, to a merchant recently arrived from the town of Sarmada, owned by a Kurdish citizen.
Gunmen from the “Al-Mu’tasem Brigade” militia forced a dictated family to live in the house of the Kurdish elderly woman, “Sabah Muhammad Hussein,” in exchange for money, on the pretext that the next family would take care of the old woman as being alone.
The militia, “Sultan Murad”, also seized the Rose Tailoring Hall, which is owned by an abandoned Kurdish product, and rented it to six Idlib families, erecting tents inside them and residing in it for 15,000 Syrian pounds per tent!
In the town of Shara / Sharan, the militia “Sultan Murad” seized the house of the Kurdish citizen, Rashid Dodakh, and rented it to a family from Idlib.
The incident is only a continuation of the ongoing robberies and seizures since the occupation of Afrin, where Islamic militias in most villages prevented many citizens from returning to their homes and properties after seizing them, on the pretext that they had become military headquarters for Islamic militias, or that settlers with families of the militants had settled there!
On the first of October 2019, the militia of the Sultan Murad Brigade expelled the wife of “Mohammed Dodakh” from her house in the town of “Shara / Sharan”, which is located two hundred meters from the automatic oven in the west, and confirmed the correspondent of “Afrinpost “After the expulsion of the seventieth Kurdish elderly woman, who is alone in her home, the militia resided in a family of settlers who were linked to its armed men instead of it.
On December 26, 2019, militants of the “Eastern Liberation Militia” seized a Kurdish widow’s house in the city of Afrin and subsequently plundered its contents, and rented it to a fleeing family from Idlib. At the end of December, the Afrinpost correspondent said that the militia “Al-Shamiya Front” is breaking the locks and opening the doors of houses in the villages of (Brimja-Qantareh-Hsseh-Shitka) of the “Mobata / Ma’batli” district, despite the presence of the owners in Afrin, where they go It is in order to serve their agricultural fields every period, as a result of Islamic militias seeking to settle fleeing families from Idlib countryside.
On January 6, the Afrinpost reporter in the Afrin center said that the “Al-Awsu militia” affiliated with the “Shamiya Front” militia had expelled the elderly Kurdish citizen, Nabi Murad, 68, from his house in the Ashrafieh neighborhood, in the vicinity of Furn Hamada, and added that the Kurdish elderly was living alone in the house, and he was expelled from his home on the pretext that one of his sons belonged to the “People’s Protection Units”, even though he was displaced and residing in Aleppo, and the correspondent added that the gunmen inhabited a family coming from Idlib governorate in it, For monthly rent, $ 100.
The reporter also added that an armed man from Homs governorate works within the “Al-Mu’tasim Brigade” militia, seized two houses and a shop in the city center of Afrin, all belonging to the Kurdish citizen “Zuhair Faris” from the people of the “Maamlo / Maamel Ushaghi in the district of Raju, west of Afrin region The reporter pointed out that the Kurdish citizen works as a fuel dealer in the Al-Hal market, while the Homsi militia intends to house his relatives in the two homes.
It is clear that the recent war of the regime and Russia was carried out in full coordination with the Turkish occupation, in order to push the people in Idlib to leave and go to settle in areas occupied by Turkey such as Afrin, “Tel Abyad / GrE Spi” and “Sereh Kanieh / Ras Al-Ain”, and it can be likened to what is going on In Idlib, by the Turkish-Russian exchange, in which Afrin was sold by Russia, in exchange for Turkey giving up areas that were subject to its militias in the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama, and Idlib.
What is taking place is only a new way for the demographic change practiced by the Turkish occupation authorities, by forcing the population in Idlib to leave to fill what it considers its safe area, which seeks from it to be a dagger in the back of the self-administration areas east of the Euphrates, in order to eliminate the historical presence of the Kurds in the north Syria, and depriving the rest of the components of the rights that they acquired through “self-administration”.
