Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to kidnap Kurdish citizens in the occupied Afrin region, with the aim of obtaining financial ransoms from them within the framework of the plan of restrictions and displacement established by the intelligence of the Turkish occupation.
In the context, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin Province, on the twenty-seventh of February, said that the militia of “Ahrar Al-Sharqia” affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood had kidnapped the young man “Lawand Muhammed Nur Hasan / 25 years old”, and he is married.
“Lawand” was working in Turkey, and he is from the village of Meske Jurn / Maska Fawqani, in Jenderes District.
Islamic militias rely on kidnapping as a means of obtaining money, which is one of the methods they followed since the beginning of the occupation of Afrin, while the Turkish occupation supervises these operations as one of the methods of displacing the Kurds and preventing the displaced from returning.
The organization itself had revealed, a two-year statistic of violations of the Turkish occupation army and Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, in conjunction with the second annual tragedy of the start of the Turkish invasion against the Afrin region, where the organization issued a statement between a gathering of hundreds of Afrin refugees in Al-Shahba, on the sixteenth of January, in “Sardam camp,” and around the abductees, the statement said that more than 6000 civilians of both sexes were kidnapped, and the fate of more than 3300 of them is still unknown.
