Six shells landed on the center of the occupied Kurdish Afrin region in northern Syria, one of which hit the Shari’a School, the other in Al-Itihad Al-Arabi School, one in the vicinity of the Sheikh Shwakh Mosque, and two shells near the Jin hall.
The correspondent of “Afrinpost” added that the sixth landed near the water tank in the Ashrafieh neighborhood without exploding, while it was not clear exactly who carried out the bombing, which comes in conjunction with Turkish-Russian tension, which may pave the way for wider battles, similar to the events in Idlib and western Aleppo.
The correspondent noted that the shelling resulted in the injury of three Kurdish children in Al-Ittihad School, they are: (Mirvan, Rudin, and Ali).
The bombing also killed a settler in the Shari’a School, a (baccalaureate student) called Yassin Hamrawi, one of the settlers from Al-Ghouta in Afrin, and wounded: Qutaiba Al-Quwatli, Abboud Al-Maydani, Rayan Basha and all three of the settlers are from Al-Ghouta and live in Afrin.
