The Turkish occupation is trying to make the most of the military operation launched by the Russian forces and the regime’s army on the Idlib governorate, taking advantage of the displacement resulting from it to change the remaining original demographic in the occupied Kurdish Afrin region, by settling its loyalists from the families leaving Idlib in the villages, towns and cities of the region .
The Afrinpost correspondent in the “Bulbul / Balbula” district reported that the militia of the “Al-Majd Legion” militia has settled about twenty families of Idlib in the deported homes of Dikieh village people, indicating that they also forced a widow to leave her house and live in her son’s house Residing in the village, and they forcibly housed a family from Idlib with other elderly people.
In addition, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin announced on its Facebook page, that during the past two days alone, more than three hundred families were forcibly settled in Bulbul district, most of them in the eastern villages of the administrative boundaries in parallel to the Turkish border (Aboudan, Shikhorz, Haftar, Saarengke, Durakli, Bekhja, Ali Karo, Hayama).
The organization added that about two hundred and fifty families were settled in the villages of the “Mobata / Ma’ tali” district, in addition to settling more than 50 fifty families in Sharan district and dozens of families in Jandares district.
In the same context, the Afrin Media Center said the “Samarkand Brigade” militia expelled a number of Kurdish citizens from their homes in the village of Kafr Safra / Jenderes, noting that some of them were expelled from their homes on the pretext of not having identification documents, while others under the pretext of expanding the area of the house and the necessity of housing several families Within the same house, and their names are as follows: Murad Agha – Waqfi Murad “despite the presence of his wife in the village” – Ramadan Hussein – Hussein Husnu – Nabi Hussain – Hussein Sheikho).
