An armed member of the “Nidal al-Bayanouni” group affiliated to the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” attacked a member of the “Al-Bubnah tribe” because of his response to an attempt to rob a quantity of benzene, according to a reporter of the Afrinpost in the center of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria.
The reporter stated that the citizen from the “Al-Bubnah tribe” owned a fuel station next to the old garage, where a militant of the “Nidal Al-Bayanouni” group tried to take a quantity of gasoline by force and without paying for it.
This attempt by the armed man led to a fight between the two sides, which led to soldiers from the Turkish occupation army intervened, as they brought the two sides to the justice court.
The confrontation took place on the twenty-sixth of June 2018, after the occupation of Afrin, between the “Ahrar al-Sham” militia on the one hand, and members of the Al-Bubnah tribe on the other side, after the militia militants tried to steal a bulldozer belonging to the tribe members.
