Afrinpost-Special
Three explosions hit different parts of the center of the Kurdish-occupied Afrin province last week, without any claim of responsibility, at a time when the Turkish occupation areas are witnessing a state of chaos and lawlessness
On November 26th, the bombing of the “Health Authority” Street, known for its political activities near Al-Shallal restaurant, hit an explosive device in a taxi box, wounding five people, including the Kurdish driver of the car, Hamoudi .
The Afrinpost was informed from its sources that a woman with a head scarf took the taxi from Al-Fil street in the Ashrafieh neighborhood and asked to get her to somewhere in the city, but she asked the driver to stop on the political street under the pretext of buying medicines from Waziru pharmacy.
The taxi exploded, where the executor had put a bag in the trunk of the car.
A pro-militia channel published a picture of a woman who said that she carried out the bombing without identifying it yet, in light of the deliberate disregard by the Turkish occupation authorities, and the lack of seriousness in detecting the perpetrators of the bombings, note that there is hardly a street without surveillance cameras!
Surprisingly, Turkish intelligence arrested the Kurdish driver despite his injury in the bombing, and kept him for three days for questioning.
On Friday, another bombing hit the city of Afrin, particularly in the vicinity of “roundabout Nawroz” on the main street, by a car bomb, wounding four people without being able to identify their identities, according to the reporter of “Afrinpost” in the city.
The correspondent confirmed that clashes took place between the militia, “Al-Shamia” and the militia “Sultan Murad” on the road of Raju downtown, immediately after the bombing.
A pro-Islamic militant channel published a picture of two people taken by surveillance cameras, accusing them of being behind the bombing, but he did not reveal their identity.
The day before yesterday morning, an explosive device planted in the car of a gunman in the district of Ashrafieh in the center of the province of Afrin near Al-Zaytouni for Ice cream, causing material damage at the site of the bombing, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that a gunman from the militia, “Failaq al-Sham” on board, was killed.
The bombings are usually caused by a dispute between militias competing for thefts and the expansion of spheres of control, or due to the desire of those militias to show the security situation as dangerous and must be kept and not to get them to other fronts.
