The Self-Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria said on Saturday that the Turkish occupation after trying to occupy the regions of Sari Kanye (Ras al-Ain and Gire Spo / Tel Abyad) by various means and work to settle refugees in coordination with the United Nations.
The Self-Administration absolutely rejected these policies and these Turkish approaches, calling on world opinion to act to prevent a catastrophe against the people and residents of northern Syria.
The Self-Administration called on the United Nations to prevent this Turkish project, which will harm the region, cause more instability, develop sectarian, ethnic and societal conflicts, and distort historical and societal realities.
As a result, it announced the importance and necessity of the return of the people to their areas, including the people of northern Syria from the areas of the recent Turkish attack, as well as Afrin, Jarablus, Azaz and Bab, and confirmed that they have expressed the necessary support in this, but only if the file is in the hands of the United Nations.
The Self-Administration stressed that the silence of the United Nations on Turkish practices means genuine support for them, and cooperation in the displacement of the people of northern Syria from their areas.
