Afrinpost – Special
The Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation, known as the Syrian National Army, continue their frantic campaign to cut olive trees, pine forests and forests throughout the Kurdish-occupied Afrin region, amid increasing demand for woods, especially olive trees.
In this context, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” reported that the militia “Al-Sham” Front led by “Walid Kadro”, cut down 200 olive trees belonging to the widow of the deceased, “Rashid Hamdouche” of the people of the village “Kafarjna.”
The reporter added that the Kurdish widow suffered a stroke about a week ago, as a result of her shock from the loss of her source of livelihood, and was then referred to the hospital for treatment and is still staying in it.
The olive field is located on the road to Kfarjina – Mariamin, near the village of Kafarmazeh occupied by the militia.
This is the second time that the trees of the Hamdoush family have been targeted. On November 17, the Al-Sham Front militia uprooted a field of olive trees in the village of Kafarjana and sent it to Afrin markets.
Two Inter truckloads of olive trunks arrived in Afrin after being uprooted from the field of one of the kidnappers of the Hamdoush family in the village, without being able to find out the reasons for retaliation.
On the same day, the Al-Sham Front militia abducted three Kurdish citizens from the village of Kafarjneh (Walat Anwar, 45 years old, Sadeq Hamdoush, 55 years old, and Mohammed Hanan Hamdoush, 29 years old).
