Afrinpost-Special
Settlers whose family members joined the Turkish invasion refused to evacuate three houses they had taken in the village of Matina / Matinli, in Shara / Sharan district of the Kurdish countryside of Afrin, before they received “kickback / royalty”.
The correspondent of “Afrinpost” in Shara, said that the families of the settlers refused to evacuate three houses in the village of Matina and handed over to their owners in the village, demanding the amount of two hundred thousand Syrian pounds for the evacuation of each house.
The correspondent pointed out that the settlers threatened to burn the houses and destroy them if they do not accept the payment of the required amount, while the village is occupied by the militia of the “Sultan Murad Division” and is taken over by settlers from the rural areas of Homs and Damascus.
It should be noted that the settlers from the families of the militants reside in the homes of the displaced Afrin after the seizure since March 2018, under the pretext that it belonged to those close to the Self-Administration and PYD.
