Failaq Al-Majd militia unjustly cut down 250 olive trees in Chobana in Rajo

The Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood have expanded the scope of olive cutting in the fields belonging to the displaced people of the occupied Afrin region, with the increase in demand for firewood, especially after the price of a barrel of diesel fuel exceeded 100,000 Syrian pounds.

In this context, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” in the Rajo district that the militia of the militia, “Failak al-Majd,” led by the so-called “Abu Adel” have cut down 250 olive trees unfairly in the vicinity of the village of Chobana, in order to sell its woods after it became popular after high fuel prices and the dividend of significant financial gains on militants.

The targeted field is owned by Ahmed Alou, a resident of the village of Kela, in the district of Bulbula / Bulbul, who has been living in Europe for a long time.

The correspondent added that the militia is currently conducting a new inventory of olive fields, in order to seize more property of absentees and displaced persons on charges of being within PYD, and benefit from its crops and woods.

The Afrinpost correspondents have long reported that Islamic militia gunmen have cut olive trees. The militants have set up workshops, cutting down trees from the forests of Afrin and collecting firewood in fixed centers on the outskirts of villages.
