Afrinpost-Rebounds
Aleppo – Political parties in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo have launched a campaign to collect signatures demanding return of Afrin residents who forcibly displaced by the Turkish occupation attacks to their homes, the Hawar news agency reported on Wednesday.
The campaign aims, according to those responsible, to return the people of Afrin to their homes and reject the violations by the Turkish occupation against the indigenous Kurds in Afrin.
A number of political parties are participating in the campaign, including the Future Council of Syria, the Democratic Union Party and the Future Party of Syria. “We have started a campaign to collect signatures with the aim of returning the people of Afrin who were forcibly displaced by the Turkish occupation forces to their homes,” said Avin Seydou, a member of the Syrian Democratic Council in Aleppo’s office.
Avin stated that the aim of the campaign is to convey the voice of the people of Afrin to international forums, the United Nations and human rights organizations about the violations by Turkey and its militias in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, which went beyond the limits of morality and human values.
It is worth mentioning that the signatures campaign will continue until the collection of signatures in the districts of Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maksoud.
