“Al-Hamzah” militia kidnaps 4 citizens of Basouta village

An armed group belonging to the militia of “Al-Hamza” raided the village of Basouteh / Basouta in the Kurdish countryside of Afrin, and kidnapped 4 people from their homes and took them to a prison in the city center of Afrin, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Syrian Observatory added that the militants of the militia “Army of Al-Sharqiya” of the Turkish occupation had cut down thousands of trees “forest” near the village of “Meska Fauqani” of the district of Jenderes in the countryside of Afrin.

Militants are cutting down trees and selling them as “firewood for heating,” as well as continuing to cut down thousands of trees near the village of Chupana, also in Jenderes district.
