On Friday, several demonstrations took place in different parts of Aleppo countryside, including Afrin province, where dozens of settlers demonstrated, chanting slogans confirming that Aleppo is “free” and not for Iran, according to the Syrian Observatory.
Afrin settlers were dragged behind Turkish promises and tricks, leaving their land under a Russian-Turkish agreement, following promises to give them Kurdish homes and 200 olive trees in Afrin for each settler.
Promises pushed thousands of Muslim Brotherhood supporters out of the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama, Idlib, Deir ez-Zor and others from their areas to coordinate behind the Turks’ plans to settle in Afrin province, under the pretext of fighting “separatism” and regime supporters.
Observers believe that the Islamic militants want only the logic of the sovereignty of the alleged sectarian majority of the Muslim Brotherhood and Turkey, which wants to acquire the capabilities of the country and put them in the service of the Turkish, and prevent the rest of the components from the getting of their rights, and that the rest of the components follow their and Ankara’s orders.
