Afrin Liberation Forces carried out several qualitative operations as part of its retaliatory operations against the Turkish occupation forces and the Islamic militias affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood organization in Afrin and Azaz city, where they were able to kill a number of Turkish occupation soldiers and militants, and wounding others.
In this context, the forces issued a statement to the public opinion on the series of operations in both Afrin and Azaz, read: “In the framework of our retaliatory operations against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the province of Afrin and the city of Azaz, our forces carried out several qualitative operations.”
On 23 November, our forces carried out an operation in the village of Mariamin in the district of Shara against a position of Turkish occupation soldiers, in which 9 soldiers of the occupation were injured, two of them seriously.
“In the village of Khazewi in the district of Sherawa, our forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation forces. On the same date, the forces in the countryside of Azaz carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation forces, and wounded three mercenaries in the operation.
“After our forces carried out these operations, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the villages of Malikia, Marnaz, Shikhorzi, Qalaat Shikhorzi and Alqamiya of Shara district, with mortar shells intensively.”
