Afrinpost Special
The Turkish occupation and its Islamic militias continue to abduct and extort the remaining indigenous Kurds in the occupied Afrin province in order to pressure them to obtain financial ransoms, or to displace them to bring about a comprehensive demographic change.
According to the Afrinpost correspondent in Rajo district, the Failaq al-Sham militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization kidnapped 55-year-old Hanan Hashko, who was appointed by the Turkish occupation as mayor to the village of “Korri / Sheikh Mahmali”, which is within the Midani villages in the district.
The reporter said that “Hashko” was kidnapped on charges of giving a written permission to one of the villagers to allow him to reclaim mountainous land, but the militia did not like the matter and took him.
The kidnappings also affect the Turkish occupation collaborators in the Kurdish region, as many of them have been subjected to attacks and killings, such as the killing of “Ahmed Sheikho” the Deputy Chairman of the Occupation Council in “Shih / Sheikh Hadid” by the militants of “Sultan Suleiman Shah \ Amsha” Brigade over a year ago.
