The Turkish occupation, through its Islamic militias known as the “National Army” of the Muslim Brotherhood Organization, continues to crack down on the remaining Kurdish citizens in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, formerly of the Self-Administration, through the implementation of looting, armed robbery and theft against them, in order to impoverish them and force them leave them to their homes to bring about a comprehensive demographic change.
The Islamic militia looted 1000 olive trees near Tel Katakh in the area of Dashta Ardi Shaga, which connects the plains of Kattakh and Dromieh, according to Afrinpost correspondent in Mobata / Maabatli.
The correspondent added that Islamic militia gunmen brought in between 150 to 200 settler workers, and harvested them in one day, while the looted olive trees belong to three families of the indigenous Kurds: families (Osman, Dahdo, Ibish).
Afrin occupies the second place in the production of olive oil in Syria, where the number of olive trees are about / 18 / million trees, and is a major source of income for most of its population.
Islamic militias seize agricultural land, olive groves and all seasons belonging to forcibly displaced people from the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin and employ their settlers as laborers.
Since the occupation of Afrin, the Islamic militias, under the supervision of the Turkish occupation, have divided the villages and districts of Afrin into sectors, where a specific militia is stationed in each sector, and monopolize itself to rob the property of the displaced Kurds, and seize their homes and livelihoods and distributed to settler families of the gunmen.
