Settlers and gunmen of the Islamic militia known as the Syrian National Army, which is affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organisation, continue to loot the olive crop throughout the former Kurdish autonomous region of Afrin.
According to the correspondent of “Afrinpost” in the area “Bulbula / Bulbul”, the gunmen of the militia “Hamza Division” stationed in the quarry adjacent to the village of “Hassan Dera” and led by the so-called (Tareq Juriyyeh), looted the crop of / 300 / olive trees belonging to the citizen (N.K) from the village of Shurba.
The correspondent noted that when the citizen tried to prevent the gunmen from looting, they deliberately fired a machine from above to intimidate and deport him.
The correspondent confirmed that the citizen filed a complaint to the leadership of the militia and the Turkish occupation. The gunmen handed him / 300 / US dollars only , while the value of the looted crop is equivalent to two million Syrian pounds (about 3300 US dollars).
He added that the militia, along with the looting of Kurdish farmers, are imposing a royalty of one US dollar per olive tree in the villages (Shurba, Hassan Dera and other villages under thier occupation).
