Afrinpost-Special
The Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, began to impose royalties on the inhabitants of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, as the people started to harvest the green olive crop for eating.
The correspondent of the “Afrinpost” said that the militias impose royalties through five checkpoints erected in (the village of Hassan Dera, the entrance of the village of Midanki, and one at the junction of the village of Kamrok, and a fifth at the junction of the dam), and all these points within the area of Shara/ Sharan east of the province of Afrin.
The correspondent added that each of these checkpoints receives a royalty ranging from 500 to 2500 Syrian pounds, for each truck loaded with green olives, while the checkpoint of the dam of “Sultan Murad” militia impose 2500 Syrian pounds by itself.
The reporter noted that the imposition of royalties comes in addition to the robberies started by the settlers, in addition to the armed takeover of the property of the displaced Kurdish people , which was repeated last year, which witnessed large-scale robberies by settlers and militants, under the supervision of the Turkish occupation and occupation councils.
