The village of Maarska, in the Shara / Sharan area in countryside of occupied Kurdish Afrin, witnessed the disappearance of a Kurdish girl on 26 September, while activists accused the Islamic militias, known as the “Free Army, the National Army” for being responsible.
The regional correspondent of “Afrinpost” confirmed that a Kurdish girl named “Sara Abdullah Mohammed Ali” a 16-year-old, has disappeared under mysterious circumstances, but without being able to confirm the circumstances of the incident, because of the reluctance of the people to give information out of fear from the terrible atmosphere imposed by the Islamic militias in the occupied territory, as well as the social sensitivity associated with such incidents, which prevents the access to the truth.
Social media pages accused Islamic militias of abducting the underage girl and driving her to an unknown destination.
On September 26, the media office of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria said that the house of Abdullah Mohammed Ali was raided in Maarska village and his minor daughter Sara, 16 years old, was arrested, who had no relation with the previous adminstration and PYD, whose fate remains unknown, without specifying the executor.
