The Islamic militias, known as the Free Army, the National Army, continue to destroy the ecological features of the Kurdish-occupied Afrin region by continuing to target perennial trees by logging and trading them as firewood or coal.
According to activists in the district of Jenderes, the militia of the “Hamza Division” Islamic, cut more than ten perennial trees in the village of “Satya / Satyanli”, specifically on the road to the village “Kakhera”, where the trees are more than 250 years old.
Activists published a picture showing that the militia cut down a perennial oak tree in front of the house of Hajj Abdo Raswal in the village of Satya .
Activists confirm that the frequency of logging of all kinds of forestry and fruit increased significantly with the winter approaching , as the Islamic militias of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood began to cut olive trees from the province of Afrin, with the aim of turning them for firewood and selling them in the markets of rural Idlib and Aleppo.
