AFRINPOST- Exclusive
AFRINPOST correspondents in Afrin City and the city of Janderese/Cindirêsê have confirmed that the Islamist militias are forcing the Kurds to deny their abuses after the reports of the kidnapping of two citizens in a village in Afrin/Rojava and forced the villagers on social media pages to deny news and refute those who publish them.
Islamist militias seek to conceal their crimes and at times meet with people to deny that they have been kidnapped or tortured, as has previously been done by the physical therapist Adnan Bustan al-Kurdi, in order to prove the crimes against themselves.
Since the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish occupation army and its affiliated Islamic militias, the occupying forces have been exerting a comprehensive lawlessness of the Kurdish region, including robbery, kidnapping, extortion, seizure and armed robbery, and preventing the inhabitants from returning to their villages as a part of Turkey’s plan for demographic change, following the wave of forcible displacement of Kurds from the territory that took place in March 2018 as a result of the excessive military force used against the Kurdish fighters.
