The correspondent of the AFRINPOST in Jindirese/Cindirêsê area obtained definite information about the Qatar efforts to promote settlement and stability in Afrin/Rojava, by offering temptations and financial assistance to those wishing to settle in the occupied Kurdish region.
Since the beginning of the Syrian civil war, Qatar has funded and supported Muslim Brotherhood groups, sponsored by Turkey, both military and politically, where a group classified as a “terrorist organization” in many Arab countries leads the Syrian opposition through the so-called “coalition of Revolutionary and opposition forces.”
The so-called “Qatar Widows” restoration system” is working on a program to encourage the marriage of widows by going to camps, publishing leaflets and preparing lists for those who wish to marry widows.
According to Qatar’s offer, the latter will be responsible for the full amount of the marriage, and the applicant only need to find a home or a so-called “legitimate house”, under which the applicant may receive a widow for the sum of $3,000 which is now available to settlers accompanying Islamic militias following their seizure Kurds ‘ homes and livelihoods.
It is also probable that according to information obtained by the correspondent AFRINPOST, monthly salaries are allocated to men who married widows. The amount is approximately $200, where, under the support of Qatar, local occupation councils are supposed to prepare lists of the names of those who wish to marry widows.
The AFRINPOST correspondent confirmed that the Qatar system is working to encourage settlement in Afrin, where they give help and fuel to settlers, to push them to stay in the Kurdish region.
During the Turkish invasion of Afrin January 2018, Qatar was the only Arab state to openly declare its stand alongside the Turkish invasion, where the Turkish occupation and Qatar are jointly supporting and financing the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the spiritual reference for the majority of the militants of the Islamic militias.
