The correspondent of AFRINPOST said that Islamic militias continue kidnapping campaigns against the indigenous Kurds in Afrin. Our correspondent added that the kidnapping campaign took place over the past two days, in the areas of ” Marate/Maratê roundabout ” and “Amusement Street” in the center of the city of Afrin, affected a number of Kurdish citizens.
According to our correspondent, the gunmen abducted an elderly Kurdish man known as Mustafa Sunnah from Jeleme/Celemê village in Jindrese/Cindirêsê district, they abducted him from his home in Marate/Maratê roundabout, arguing that he had a relationship with the former self-administration, a charge for all those who the militias want to blackmail them to obtain financial money from their families.
In the amusement street in Afrin, gunmen of Islamic militias kidnapped a citizen and two children (two young men) from the village of Bekhce/Bêxçe, in the area of Bilbile/Bilbilê from their shop (sale of vegetables), and our correspondent, quoting from sources from the neighborhood, that the arrest was done because of the good financial conditions for the kidnapped Kurds.
Islamic militias depend on kidnapping for money, which is one of the methods they have followed since the occupation of Afrin, while the Turkish occupation oversees those operations, as one of the methods of displacing the Kurds, or preventing the displaced from returning.
