Local activists told AFRINPOST that the Islamic militias affiliated to the Turkish occupation had destroyed the tombstones in the cemetery of the town of Medanki, in the area of “Shara”, and had also cut the forest trees surrounding the cemetery, which was sacred to the inhabitants of the town.
It is mentioned that the town of Medanke/Meydankê, which overlooks the Medanki Dam, consists of about 600 houses, with only 100 families returned after the occupation of Afrin on 18 March 2018, while the rest of the houses are settled by the families of militants’ men who are with the turkish occupation for the rural areas of Homs, Hama and Damascus.
