In a recent development, the military police militia apprehended Shaban Rashid Hamo, a 25-year-old resident of Dikeh village in Bulbul district, at the entrance checkpoint to Afrin on the Rajo road. According to our reporter, Hamo faces charges related to involvement in combat activities.

Simultaneously, afrinpost learned that the Turkish court in Afrin sentenced Ahmed Mannan Bilal, a young man from Dikeh village, to 15 years in prison approximately five months ago. Bilal had been in custody for about a year and a half, arrested on charges of affiliating with the Kurdish Protection Units (YPG) just days before Eid al-Adha (around July 4, 2022).
