Our reporter in Afrin stated that the Turkish-affiliated military police militia has detained Riad Mohammed (32 years old), known as “Riad Hayamo,” from the village of Hayama – Bulbul, approximately two months ago, without any knowledge of the reasons behind his arrest.
At the same time, the city of Afrin is witnessing increased security measures since the morning of December 25. Security forces at checkpoints deployed at the city’s entrances and within its borders are scrutinizing the identities of Kurdish citizens exclusively, detaining young men for hours before allowing them to pass.
