On July 22nd, the Syrian regime arrested the Kurdish civilian, “Sido Sheikh Qanbar,” aged 36, from the village of Khalalka in the Bulbul sub-district. The arrest took place at one of their checkpoints while he was heading from Aleppo city to the Shahba area in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The reasons for his arrest remain unknown.
Earlier, on July 10th, at a security checkpoint belonging to the Syrian regime in the western neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsoud in Aleppo city, the pharmacist “Hogir Mohammed Ali Habash” was arrested. He was found in possession of a significant amount of money, allegedly intending to put financial pressure on the besieged residents of Afrin in the Kurdish neighborhoods of Aleppo city.
