Armed IDPs Assaulted Two Brothers in Musakeh Village, Afrin

afrinpost– Exclusive

On July 8, IDPs affiliated with the Hamza Brigade/Brigades militia attacked two brothers, causing them multiple fractures, due to their objection to the grazing of livestock within the orchards of Musakeh village, located in the Rajo sub-district.

According to our correspondent, a group of men and women from Maarat al-Numan in Idlib countryside assaulted the citizens, Shiar Mustafa Qadir (31 years old) and his brother Mustafa Mustafa Qadir (35 years old), mercilessly with sticks. This resulted in Mustafa Mustafa Qadir suffering a fractured skull at the back of his head and he was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Rajo town.

Our correspondent explained that the incident occurred when Shiar Mustafa noticed a number of sheep tending in a green-planted garden. He decided to remove and separate them. However, the owner of the sheep shouted, claiming that they had taken over the entire garden and all the areas within Musakeh village as part of a “guarantee” from the leaders known as “Abu al-Khair” and “Wael Abu Saeed,” who are responsible for the economic office affiliated with the Hamza Brigade.

The attackers belong to the Al-Zubaidi family, whose men are part of the Hamza Brigade. They are relatives of Yazid Bashkawi, a leader and security official in the Hamza Brigade in the Rajo sub-district, known for his extensive record of violations.

These armed individuals and their relatives from the Al-Zubaidi family not only engage in unlawful grazing within the orchards and fields of the locals but also extend their violations to include cutting down trees, stealing agricultural crops, and even threatening homes at gunpoint, as they are members of the Hamza Brigade.

It should be noted that Abu al-Khair is responsible for the economic affairs, while Wael Saeed Abu Saeed is the security official of the Hamza Brigade in the village of Atmana, located in the Rajo sub-district.
