In a distressing turn of events, our correspondent reported that armed individuals have maliciously cut down 34 olive and pomegranate trees from the fields belonging to Kurdish farmers. This grievous act of destruction occurred amidst the inability of local residents to protect their properties and crops from the relentless assaults perpetrated by elements of the “National Army” militias and their IDP affiliates in the occupied region of Afrin.

Providing further details, the armed perpetrators targeted 14 olive trees from the forcibly displaced farmer Ahmed Suleiman’s field, situated opposite the village of Cûqê/ Jwaiq in the central district.

Furthermore, just ten days ago, another group of assailants callously severed 20 pomegranate trees from the land owned by Adel Ali, located near the water canal on the outskirts of the occupied city of Afrin, close to the vicinity of the village of Ister.
