The Public Security Service of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization arrested two of “Jaysh al-Islam” gunmen, who were hiding near Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood park, as part of the arrest campaign it started against the militia two days ago in the occupied city of Afrin, according to our reporter in the city.
Activists stated that HTS organization uses in its search operation “Unit K 9”, which contains well-trained police dogs, specialized in tracking mines and drugs. This dogs were previously used at Bab al-Hawa crossing to prevent drug smuggling operations in Idlib.
Joint patrols of “Al-Amashat” militia and “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham” organization pursued the militants of “Samarkand, al-Waqqas and Jaysh al-Islam” militias in the countryside of Jindires and Mobata and the center of Afrin city, and were able to end their military presence there.
In addition, the rest of the neutral militias, who didn’t involve in the ongoing conflict, were asked to inform HTS of the names of the new elements who joined their ranks during the past days, including leading officers.
