The Turkish-backed “National Army” militia closed all civilian, military and commercial crossings between Afrin and Idlib completely, today, Saturday, in front of cars and pedestrians, in conjunction with large military mobilizations of “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” and “Ahrar al-Sham” militia from the side of Idlib countryside, Against the background of the fierce clashes between the two parties in the countryside of Al-Bab, Jarabulus and Afrin in the countryside of Aleppo.
In the occupied region of Afrin, the villages of Hamilka and Hajilar in Jindires district are witnessing tension between the militias of the “al-Jabha al-Shamiya” and “Ahrar al-Sham” and agitation among the latter, noting that the group controlling the village of Hamilka is splintered from the “Ahrar al-Sham” militia and affiliated with the “al-Jabha al-Shamiya” led by the so-called “Abu Alaa Abyin”.
Afrinpost’s own sources confirmed that a military convoy of “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” entered the village of Basoufan in Sherawa district, after the checkpoints of the “Faylaq al-Sham” militia withdrew in front of it, and a general military alert was announced by all militias of the “National Army” in Afrin.
