A week ago, Kawa Security Forces of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia kidnapped “Jamil Adel” (27 years old), from the village of Kokhra – Mobata district, on charges of being in the People’s Protection Units.
Members of “Al-Shamiya” militia kidnapped “Jamil” who works as a blacksmith, from his home in Ashrafieh neighborhood, the center of the occupied city of Afrin, and then handed him over to the “Military Police” militia of the Turkish occupation.
“afrinpost” recorded 50 arrests and kidnappings, including five women, and five Arabs in the occupied region of Afrin, and two Kurds were arrested in Turkish territory, during the month of May.
Arrests are often carried out arbitrarily, like arresting citizens at security checkpoints or through violent raids by searching houses and insulting their owners, on flimsy charges that focus mostly on the relationship with the former Autonomous Administration or communicating with Kurdish military authorities.
