Our sources in Afrin said that, “the militants of the Turkish-backed “al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia attacked, on April 28, a Kurdish citizen from the village of Habu, with the aim of seizing his parents’ house.
“Six gunmen from the “al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia stopped the citizen “Ziad Khalil”, who works as a taxi driver, on al-Sarfis road in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, and they beat him, for trying earlier to seize his family’s house in which his elderly mother resides.” the sources added.
This is the third incident of its kind that our website document in one week.
“As a member of the pro-Turkey “Military Police” militia, called “Shams Al-Baaj”, assaulted on May 1, the Kurdish citizen “Abu Shukri” from the town of Rajo, severely beating him at the entrance to the town of Rajo and shot at him, because of his refusal to pay them “royalty” for his car loaded with firewood from his land.”
