“Hamzat” militia cut down 90 olive trees in Qajuma village in Afrin countryside

“Hamzat” militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization continues to cut olive trees in the fields of the displaced people of the village of Qajuma / Mobata district, to sell them as firewood

The Afrinpost correspondent said that the militia, today, Tuesday, cut down 90 olive trees from the field belonging to the displaced Kurdish citizen “Hussein Kassab”, using electric saws in the process of cutting. In addition, two owners of agricultural tractors were forced to transport firewood to the sales center, despite the rains.

Yesterday, Monday, the “Hamzat” militia militants harvested about fifty olive trees owned by the Kurdish citizen “Hussein Muhammad Abdo” from the Qajuma / Qajuman village of Jenderes district. After the olive harvest was finished, they cut down trees and uprooted them from their roots to be sold as firewood in the markets, noting that the trees are productive and are more than seventy years old.

In the same context, armed men from the same militia, since yesterday, have been cutting olive trees randomly in the fields located between the villages of Talaf and Kawkabah in Jendires district, specifically those close to the irrigation water channel. The firewood are transferred to sales center located next to “Dergham” company on the new bridge inside Afrin, according to the website reporter.
