Turkish media sites reported that the deputy governor of the Turkish state of Hatay, Tolga Polat, killed his mother and brother, due to a dispute over inheritance. According to the “Anatolia” agency, yesterday, Wednesday, Polat shot his mother, Iqbal Bulat and his brother Altug Polat dead, killing them instantly.

The agency added that the security authorities had received a report from residents stating that a person had shot at the house of Iqbal Bulat in Kurtuluch district in Sihan district in central Adana, and indicated that Tolga’s father was in the house at the time of the crime and was in good health, noting that the police had questioned him to testify.

Adana Police Chief, Doghan Engi, made an inspection of the crime scene, and the two bodies were taken to the Forensic Medical Institute in Adana for autopsy after the examination, while the shooter was arrested for legal action against him.

The deputy governor of Hatay is considered directly responsible for the administration of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, which was explained by many of Afrin’s displaced people, and those inside, that the calls of the bereaved Afrin mothers had paid off with that Turkish official.

Afrin’s forcibly displaced people and steadfast people on the land of their ancestors inside Afrin indicate that the oppression and torment that the Turkish occupation and the militants of the Muslim Brotherhood brought to all the people of Afrin, as a result of the military imbalance between Afrin as (a region that enjoyed autonomous-administration by its people, and formed armed forces from its youth to protect their city from the treacherous attacks that characterized the Muslim Brotherhood militia during the Syrian civil war), it must turn against the oppressors of the Turkish occupation forces and the Muslim Brotherhood militants who call themselves the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”.
