Today, Sunday, new person infected with Covid-19 died in Al-Shahba region, bringing the number of deaths to 4, while 12 new infected cases were reported, as well as 3 cases among those infected with the Covid-19 virus were recovered.
The virus began spreading more than two weeks ago in Al-Shahba region, which is inhabited by tens of thousands of its original inhabitants and the displaced people of occupied Afrin.
According to the Afrinpost correspondent in the region, the number of the dead increased to 4 after the death of one of the infected today, while the number of injured reached 43 after 12 new cases were reported, and the area also witnessed the recovery of three infected cases.
Al-Shahba canton is witnessing the imposition of a partial ban by the Crisis Cell in Afrin region, due to the spread of the virus in a number of villages and suburbs of the district, while the people are obligated to put masks in their daily lives and adhere to personal hygiene.
