Today, Al-Shahba reported the death of an elderly displaced Kurdish woman, as a result of her infection with Covid-19, bringing the number of deaths of the disease to five cases, according to the Afrinpost correspondent in the region.
The elderly Kurdish woman, Zakiya Hassan, 75 years old, who died of Corona virus, was from Hasan village of Rajo district, and she was living in Al-Shahba areas after she was displaced two and a half years ago.
The regions of northern and eastern Syria are witnessing an increase in the number of cases of Corona virus, as the number of infections in Al-Shahba alone reached 37 cases, including 21 infected people, according to what was published by the Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration in northern and eastern Syria.
