Today, Thursday, the Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration in northern and eastern Syria reported four other people had been infected with the Covid-19 virus in Al-Shahba regions, bringing the total number of infections to 29 cases, including two deaths.
The co-chair of the authority, Dr. Jwan Mustafa, stated that 27 new cases were recorded throughout the Autonomous Administration regions, including 23 in Al-Jazira region and 4 in the Al-Shahba regions, indicating that an infected 70-year-old man was dead in Al-Jazira region.
The total number of infected cases in the Autonomous Administration regions reached 171 cases, including 8 deaths, and ten people recovered.
