9 Kurdish citizens kidnapped from the villages of “Julaka” and “Maydanki”

The human rights organization in Afrin said that the Turkish intelligence, accompanied by the “Military Police” militia in the “Jenderes” district, on Thursday / 20 August, kidnapped a number of Kurdish citizens from the village of “Julaka” affiliated to the district, and they were taken to the center of Mobata / Ma’batli district.

The organization stated that the kidnapped citizens were: Hussein Abdul Rahman Othman 68 years old (the mukhtar of the village), Izzat Muhammad Othman 58 years old, Khalil Ezzat Othman 23 years old, Mustafa Alloush 46 years old, Othman Muhammad Rasho 65 years old, Farida Abdo 35 years old and she was released later, while the fate of the 28-year-old Kurdish citizen, Rojan Ismat Hussein, remains unknown.

Also, the “Military Police” militia arrested Ibrahim Daoud, a resident of the town of “Maydanki” of “Sharan” district, and took him to an unknown destination.

In addition to the kidnapping of the citizen “Hosni Sheikh Muhammad” from “Maydanki” as well, who is the husband of the detainee “Valentina” whose fate is still unknown.

Militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, who call themselves the “Syrian National Army / Free Army,” continue the kidnappings against the indigenous Kurdish population in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, as it has become a source of funding and at the same time to harass them and push them to leave their homes .
