Two years and four months of enforced disappearance of a Kurdish citizen from the village of “Meydan Akbas”

Afrinpost – Special

The fate of the Kurdish citizen, Mustafa Khalil Ibo /27/ years old, remains unknown since he was kidnapped by the “Failaq Al-Sham” militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, on the eighteenth of March 2018.

Afrinpost correspondent in the Raju district of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria said that Mustafa is married and has a daughter, and he is a resident of the “Meydan Akbas” village of Raju district.

The gunmen of the “Failaq Al-Sham” militia led by “Salil Al-Khalidi” kidnapped him from his house in the village, on charges of dealing with the “People’s Protection Units/ YPG”, and his fate remains unknown until today, amid reports that he was in Al-Raai prison in Aleppo countryside.

Islamic militias rely on kidnapping as a means of obtaining money, which is one of the methods they followed since the beginning of the occupation of Afrin, while the Turkish occupation supervises these operations as one of the methods of displacing the Kurds and preventing the displaced from returning.
