Afrinpost correspondent in the center of the Bulbul district said that the Failaq Al-Sham militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood has imposed a royalty on the sumac and almond in three villages under its occupation.
The reporter explained that the militia asked the residents of the villages of (Zarka, Kela and Chupana) to bring the bills for the sale of “almond and sumac” crops so that a royalty of 10% of the sales value is deducted for the benefit of the economic office belonging to the militia, amid the continued thefts of seasons by the militants and settlers in those villages.
The correspondent added that a kilo of almonds is sold for 700 Syrian pounds, while the price of a kilo of sumac is 1700 Syrian pounds in the Al-Hal market, while the villages of the districts of Bulbul and Raju are known for almond fields, as well as sumac spread on the edges of the olive fields.
The Islamic militia affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, commit daily violations against the remaining indigenous Kurdish residents of the occupied Afrin region, in order to push them to leave their homes for pro-armed militants settlers.
