Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue their efforts to impoverish the residents of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, in order to push them to be displaced from their land and left to the settlers with gunmen, who were brought from the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama, Idlib, Deir Al-Zour, Aleppo and others.
In this context, the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” has removed stalls belonging to Kurdish citizens to build a mosque in its location, causing the eliminate the people’s livelihoods in front of the owners, according to the correspondent of the “Afrinpost”.
The reporter explained that the militia had removed all the stalls in the area opposite the Kawa roundabout by the “Judy” oven to adopt in its whole location, where a number of Kurdish citizens were practicing different jobs, including shipping offices.
The operation is only a continuation of the ongoing robberies and appropriations since the occupation of Afrin, as Islamic militias in most villages prevented many citizens from returning to their homes and properties after seizing them, on the pretext that they had become military headquarters for Islamic militias, or that settlers with relatives of the militants had settled there!
Where the Islamic militias seek to seize and impose royalties on the property of the Kurdish population, and the last of these (documented) operations took place on April 5, when the Afrinpost correspondent said that gunmen from the “Third Legion” militia began registering all the shops of the Ashrafieh neighborhood, demanding ownership proofs of the property , to impose new royalties.
The reporter explained that the shop owners are being asked about the daily gain they earn from their business, without specifying the amounts that will be imposed on the targeted stores.
