Director of Afrin Water Company forces the employees to collect bills … despite the risks of “Corona”

Afrinpost – Special

The Afrinpost correspondent in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, said that the administration of the Afrin Water Company is forcing its employees to work normally, despite the decision of the local occupation council to implement the system of shifts in the framework of the preventive measures taken by the Council.

The correspondent confirmed that the director of the company, the settler “Abdel Qader Al-Hafiz,” intentionally threatened the abstainers according to his instructions to dismiss them, as he required them to work from eight in the morning until four in the evening, without any consideration for the fears of the Corona pandemic in the region.

The Kurdish employees of the company are exposed to various forms of pressure in an effort by the settler called “Al-Hafiz” to push them to quit, after which he will hire the settlers instead of them.

Private sources had informed “Afrinoost” on the eleventh of last March, that the director of the water company in Afrin region, had filed a lawsuit against a number of workers in the water company, who were dismissed from work under the pretext of their involvement in an alleged financial embezzlement, Although the real reason for their separation is the hiring of settlers instead of the kurdish employees from the area.
