The settlers incite Kurdish teachers.. The occupation authorities adopt racist rhetoric

Afrinpost-Special

A copy of a letter sent by a settler protesting against the administration and procedures of the Sharan School, which carries a huge amount of racist incitement against Kurdish teachers, in Shara / Sharan, was published on Sunday by the Directorate of Education in Afrin and its countryside, which belongs to the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood.

It seems clear in the publication how incitement to the Kurdish teachers of the Afrin indigenous people, under the pretext of their work with the “self-administration”, a charge ready for each Kurd is still in his land in Afrin, note that the same charge pursued the displaced from Afrin, under the pretext of self-management and YPG , To justify the seizure of property displaced by the Turkish war and violations of Islamic militias.

Strangely enough in the publication, the settlers use the term “the people of Sharan” to speak for themselves, knowing that he is a settler and incites the indigenous Kurds, he says: “How long will the director of Sharan Meziane Hassan, our Arab children with a clear racism, and prevent our daughters from wearing the veil because it is not civilized, It narrows Arab teachers with reports and getting them fired … ”.

According to the page of the so-called “Directorate of Education” of the Turkish occupation, the settler called “Yusuf Muhmammad” sent her that letter, which she presented as a normal complaint, but it did not take a few hours until the page manager removed the publication. It is clear from the review of the pages of the page that it belongs to one of the settlers working within the Directorate of Education, where they publish all their activities periodically, which refutes any subsequent claim that the page does not represent the Directorate of Education of the occupation.

The settler sent the message using the same accusations against the Kurds in Afrin, that the Kurdish school had previously worked with the self-administration, and other charges, note that all teachers who were employees of the institutions of the regime before the outbreak of the Syrian crisis in 2011, worked in schools in Afrin During the era of self-administration, whether opposed to neutral , it is their job duty, regardless of the political party that controls the Kurdish region.

Large groups of settlers headed for Afrin, coming from the rural areas of Damascus, Homs, Hama, Idlib, Aleppo, Hama and Deir Ezzor, following the Turkish military occupation accompanied by extremist Islamic militants (FSA, National Army), on the Kurdish province of Afrin on March 18. In 2018, the number of settlers reached more than 75% of the total population of the region. They were resettled in the homes of the Kurdish residents of Afrin, who were forcibly displaced from their land, reducing the population density of the Kurds from more than 95% to less than 25% of the total population of the region, in one of the largest demographic changes that took place in the Syrian war and in sight. And glare the whole world, without moving a consonant.

In mid-May 2018, the last green buses, a symbol of defeated militants, left after they withdrew from areas of northern Homs countryside (Rastan, Talbiseh and Houla), tightening the regime’s grip on the area and opening a key part of Syria’s most important highway. An official in the regime’s government at the time said that some 27,000 people had already left the enclave since the evacuation began that month.

In a related context, the United Nations said that 66 thousand people left Eastern Ghouta in April 2018, under similar agreements, where the Turkish occupation brought all these, from extremist Islamic militias and the families of the militants, in order to push them to settle in Afrin, and then saw the people of Afrin Hundreds of buses trickled every day, bringing settlers to the occupied territory.

Settlers from the families of the gunmen live in the homes of the Afrin displaced people after taking them since March 2018, under the pretext that they belonged to those close to the self-administration and the PYD.

In the education sector, the Turkish occupation seeks to dismiss all Kurdish teachers from the schools of Afrin, the latest of which was announced by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the so-called “Directorate of Education” of the Turkish occupation, in mid-September last year, the dismissal of about 25 teachers, mostly female Their schools in Jenderes district are Kurdish citizens, as an arbitrary measure in exchange for the appointment of settlers from other areas to Afrin in their place.

The Turkish occupation is trying to make to the structure of Afrin society at all levels, revealed the correspondent of “Afrinpost” in the center of the Kurdish province of Afrin, formerly self-administration at the end of May, that the Turkish occupation will change the educational system.

He said that the Turkish occupation has distributed cards for the provision of preparatory and secondary certificates for the current year, but other leaks talk about the amendment of the school system next year, so that the certificate of preparatory education in the eighth grade, and high school certificate in the twelfth grade, and the addition of the exam Elios, to be the third academic year Ten, and “Elios” is a Turkish exam for non-Turkish students, the acquisition of which gives them the right to join Turkish universities, and includes major subjects are the Turkish language and mathematics.

Following the aggression in January 2018, the Turkish occupation deprived more than 49 thousand students of Afrin children to learn in their mother tongue in Kurdish, in addition to depriving hundreds of students of the University of Afrin and its institutes to complete their education.

Among the Turkish violations of the privacy of the Kurdish people and the Syrian homeland, the Turkish occupation to introduce symbols and slogans and teach them to the children of Afrin as national symbols, such as the presence of the Turkish flag as an example of the synonym “AL -the Flag-” in the elementary curriculum, which provides proof of the attempts of national melting, and policies Deny the existence of the Kurdish people.

At the beginning of May, Kurdish news sites published a report confirming that the number of schools receiving students in Afrin province decreased from 324 schools to 204 schools, while the number of students receiving education reached 45 thousand, and that more than 70% of its students They are settlers brought by the Turkish occupation and Muslim militias linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to the information, the number of students in all stages of education has reached 45 thousand students, where the number before the invasion of the city 49 thousand, and the rate of students from the settlers is 70%, while the proportion of students of the indigenous Kurds up to 30%.

Before the Turkish invasion of Afrin province, Kurdish students averaged 95%, who were educated in the Kurdish language in all subjects, while the children of the Arab component living in Afrin were taught in Arabic.

After the Turkish occupation, the Kurdish education was limited to teaching the Kurdish language only, while education is now in Arabic along with the introduction of the language of the Turkish occupation forcibly curriculum, in addition to the flagrant religious ideologies sought by the occupation, to raise generations on radical ideas and intensive religious education!
