Our correspondent reported that Turkish authorities released detainee Mohammed Othman Mamo from the village of Qara Gul in Bulbul sub-district yesterday. Mamo returned to his family in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of Afrin after four months of detention.
According to the correspondent, Mamo was arrested in the city of Jarablus without specific charges while returning from Aleppo to his home region in Afrin. His family reportedly paid a total of $5,000 in various forms, including ransom, bribes, and fees, to secure his release, as confirmed by a source close to him.
