Turkish Shelling Leads to Civilian and Syrian Soldier Injuries

Nineteen-year-old Amina Hakmat Ali, from the village of Sougnakah, was injured on the evening of February 29th due to shelling by Turkish forces with heavy artillery on the villages of Aqibah and Sougnakah in the Sharan district of northern Aleppo province.

The Turkish shelling also resulted in injuries to two soldiers from the Syrian regime army in the village of Sougnakah in the Sharan district, one of whom sustained serious wounds.

Earlier on the same day, Turkish forces targeted a poultry farm in the village of Taanah in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo province with heavy artillery, resulting in the death of Youssef Adnan Al-Khudr Al-Hayek, a 30-year-old Arab resident of the village, and causing severe injuries to a child named Abdulrahman Al-Khudr Al-Hayek, 16.

The targeting also caused significant material damage to the poultry farm and the death of a large number of birds.
